📱 How to Use the App
After downloading, the app will open automatically. Let's get started!
Tap "Create User" and choose a profile picture that matches your workout vibe.
Enter your email address and create a password.
Select your workout style: The sports you practice or want to try (e.g., CrossFit, powerlifting...). You can also choose if you are a Therapist (e.g., masseuse, chiropractor...) or a Coach (e.g., PT, nutritionist...).
Link your social media, website, or booking calendar. This will create an icon or a "www" symbol in the top right corner of your profile card.
Write a short description of yourself and your goals. PTs and Masseuses: Mention your services here!
Read and accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Tap REGISTER.
Your profile is now ready! It will only be visible to others at locations where you create a post.
Usage
🔍 Find Workouts, Coaches, and Masseuses
The map features BLUE pins (gyms). When a pin turns ORANGE, it means someone has posted a notice at that location.
Open an ORANGE pin to see who is working out or what services Coaches or Therapists are offering.
Click on a profile name to view the details of the Trainer, Coach, or Therapist.
Click the envelope icon if you want to send a private message to the profile owner.
Tip for finding a workout buddy: Personality is key – write a message that breaks the ice!
Create Your Own Post (Workouts, Coaching, or Therapy)
- Tap the (Create Post ) button in the pop-up box.
- Select the date and time.
- Write your message in the info field:
- Coach: (e.g., "Slots available for coaching! Come to a technique session.")You can freely post on any gym pins that are open. Please note: If a gym pin features a Verified Partner crown (đź‘‘), the pin is managed by that specific gym. In this case, posting by external professionals is restricted, and you must contact the gym administrator to request permission. If there is no crown, the pin is free for posting, even if a link to the gym's website is displayed.
- Therapist / Masseuse: (e.g., "Offering sports massages today at my own clinic. Send a message and book a time!")You can freely post on any gym pins that are open. Please note: If a gym pin features a Verified Partner crown (đź‘‘), the pin is managed by that specific gym. In this case, posting by external professionals is restricted, and you must contact the gym administrator to request permission. If there is no crown, the pin is free for posting, even if a link to the gym's website is displayed.
- Tap the green button to activate. The blue pin will instantly turn ORANGE on the map for others to see. If your plans change, you can delete the post from your profile by clicking on it. The event can be removed using the red "Delete Event" button.

Filter: Limit the map to show only the sports you are interested in (e.g., "CrossFit" or "Gym").
⚙️ Settings & Updates
Update your information, new sports, profile picture, or social media links in the Settings menu. Keep your gym identity up to date!
đź§ The Secret of the GymMap
Find new gyms and services with ease:
Explore: Blue pins show workout locations in the surrounding area.
Check: Clicking a pin shows the venue's name and sports (e.g., Fitness Center, CrossFit, or Powerlifting...).
Navigate: Click the name to access the gym's website via the green link. The fastest way to check prices and opening hours! Outdoor gyms automatically include a link, making it easy to get driving directions and info through GymMap.
📣 Be an Active GymMap Influencer!
If a gym is missing its green link, give them a tip! Let them know that gym-goers are looking for them in the app, and ask them to contact GymMap administration.
Ready-to-use message template (Copy and send):
"Hi! I use the GymMap app to plan my workouts and noticed that your gym is already on the map, but a direct link to your website is still missing. It would be awesome if you added the link so we gym-goers can find your price lists and opening hours more easily! The link can be activated by contacting the GymMap administration.
